Active components
This Green Gobbler liquid weed killer contains 30% vinegar, which immediately burns out plants. Instead of glyphosate, this weed killer makes use of high-concentration vinegar.
A typical white vinegar (such as the type used in the supermarket) includes 5% acetic acid and 95% liquid. Although 5 percent vinegar is perfect for cooking and washing, it isn’t good enough to destroy old weeds or perennials. To kill tough weeds, you’ll need a greater concentration of acetic acid, which is where 20% vinegar comes in.
When 20 percent vinegar is applied to weeds, the acetic acid destroys and dries out the stems. Desiccation is the term for this process.
The level of acetic acid in 20% vinegar elevates the chemical from a simple food ingredient to a potent herbicide. To relieve surface tension, apply dish soap to the mixture for persistent weeds. The soap acts as a surfactant, allowing the vinegar to sink through the plant’s leaves rather than beading up and running off.

How to use it?
What’s much more with this weed killer is that it doesn’t need to be mixed with water like other weed killers.
Fill a sprayer with the fluid herbicide or connect the provided trigger sprayer, then aim and spray. The quickly-acting product will kill weeds in 24 hours and deteriorates in the soil in days.
Just use the spray to dry out plants before they wither and die. It can kill trees, weeds, and bulbs. Be cautious where you spray and, even though it is herbal, the spray will kill even favorite plants.
Make sure you just spray weeds, so if you unintentionally spray your edible plants or other crops, clean them thoroughly with water.
When to use it?
Many users claim that it is better to use the Green Gobbler weed killer on warm and sunny days when the temperature is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It acts faster with the sunlight.
Where to use it?
Since it is a general weed killer, it is better used around fence lines, ponds, and patios, as well as in driveway and sidewalk cracks. This nontoxic herbicide can be used almost everywhere in your yard, greenhouse, or grass.
How long does it take to work?
If you choose to secure your pets and kids by using a strictly organic weed killer, this is the safest option. This weed killer’s key component is vinegar, which can also kill anything in its way in as little as 24 hours.
Since the spray is made of purified corn grain, you can bring your families and pets under the legislation after it has dried. You also get results quickly since it dries plants rapidly, allowing you to get back to living.

The Buyer’s Guide
Mode of action
Non-selective weed killers, such as Green Gobbler Vinegar Weed Killer, destroy plants as well as all other plants in the application field. Use them around the fence or pool, or in driveway or sidewalk cracks where they would not damage beneficial plants.
Rain will wash away the liquid substance, reducing the solution’s effectiveness. Most organic herbicides may be used without obtaining a special permit since their compounds are also suitable for humans.
Look for signs such as “risk” or “alert” on the container. Any herbal weed killers are healthy to use on lawns but not on food crops.
Ease of use
What I like most about this product is how easy it is to use. Simply insert the spray nozzle and small hose. Then begin spraying the problem areas on a driveway or in the backyard. And you don’t even need to dilute this weed killer with water. So you no longer have to be concerned with having the correct proportions to achieve the desired results.
Efficacy
This organic product is non-selective, but you may plant new seeds even a day later because the vinegar fades away fully in a few hours, particularly if the weather is mild.
Tips on how to use the Green Gobble weed killer:
- Use an attachable spray nozzle to spray it. Keep in mind that this herbicide comes pre-diluted. All you need is to spray;
- It is better to use on dry and sunny days. The calm and warm weather helps the organic weed killer to act faster;
- You may try to boost the effect by adding a few squirts of dish soap before spreading it. Shake before applying;
FAQ
Can I use it around edible plants and trees in mulch safely?
Yes, but you have to be careful. Use the product on calm days only to prevent any extra spreading on veggies and fruits.
Can it kill bamboo?
It may cope with bamboo, according to the label. It is better to spray on young bamboo leaves (cut the bamboo and wait for new shoots).
How soon should I plant my garden after the application?
In a few days or after the first rainfall. This product is biodegradable.
Is it safe to use near my pond?
The vinegar is absorbed quickly and then neutralized in the soil. It won’t leak to your pond.
Can it kill Bermuda grass in the winter season?
It may kill this grass in the winter on the surface but it won’t reach the roots because vinegar is not very effective when it’s cold.

Hello, it doesn’t contain glyphosate or other harmful chemicals, so it’s allowed to use in California.
I am interested in killing grass in an area that has roots of a mature maple tree that are above our grass line making it difficult to mow. I would like to get rid of the grass in a fairly large area, cover with weed fabric and then put stones on top. So will the Green Gobbler have any negative effect on the maple tree via its huge roots?
Hello, Michele! It’s organic, so it’s safe to use anywhere.
